Signing a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Zagazig University and Utopia Pharma

The signing of a cooperation protocol between the Utopia Company and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Zagazig University was at the Utopia Pharmaceutical Factory

This was during an official visit of a delegation of 50 students from the Faculty of Pharmacy

They were accompanied by

Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Gendy, Dean of the Faculty,

Dr. Hanan Al-Nahhas, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs

and Prof. Dr. Dr-Nahla Nabil Younis, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development,

 

This comes according to Utopia’s vision to support applied scientific research and link scientific research in Egyptian universities with industry to get benefit from competencies and research in faculties of pharmacy in Egyptian universities, including Zagazig University,  which seeks to develop scientific research in it, as well as graduate students with theoretical and practical knowledge. Pharmaceutical manufacturing operations as one of the fields of work for graduates of the faculties of pharmacy

 

It was signed by  Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Gendy,  Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Noha Abdel Shakor , Director of Development Department, and Managing Director of Utopia Pharma, who focused on training students during the summer vacation within the company’s various departments.

 

There was also a tour for the students inside the factory, where the students visited the different sections of the factory and listened to a full explanation from each section head, according to know the stages of manufacturing the product, starting from the weight of the active materials, through the stages of preparation, pressing , then the process of tape and packaging for the section of solid products, powders and liquid, as well as Complete product analysis and final release.
